I use minoxidil foam and the manufacturer recommends to avoid shampoos that contain silicones as they can potentially coat the scalp and prevent absorption of the minoxidil. It’s impossible to say which exact combination of products will be best for you but it sounds like you should try the ones designed for colored/damaged hair.
